Obliterators on the Crown Colony Issues As with the G.B. ‘used in’ section, postmarks are listed chronologically. Where numbers ‘recorded’ are quoted these have been taken from information collated by the owner over many years. Although others may exist the information quoted gives a very good guide to rarity. Most of the lots offered are on their original album pages, which are beautifully written– up with much information relating to the use of cancels with dates, etc. Where the same obliterator was used by different offices this is mentioned in lot descriptions.
