In addition to the re-a11ocated numbers, others were also issued to Jamaica which were never used
elsewhere, F97 and G14 being two ofthese.
Copse (F97) was a quiet little office in the Parish of Hanover only open from 1872 to 1890 and
this cover is one of only two known to exist from there. It is backstamped Copse on September
25th 1888, .Kingston next day, Birmingham on October 1th and Burgh-By-Sands the following
day.
