REGULATIONS.
(a) Lctters.-No letter for delivery in Jamaica, except it be soot to or from a Govern-
ment Office, may exceed 2 fee~ in length l foot in wid~h or l foot in dcpU1, or if in the form
of tL roll 30 inches in length tLud 4 inches in diameter. There is no limit of weight.
Letters senJ. in open enuewpe.s are not admitted at rate for "Printed Paper.s."
LcLters, newspapers, book p!lckets, etc., which ure whoUy unp:1id will be liable to a
surcharge equal to double the prep:~.id rate; and, if they are in$ulliciently prcp!lid, t-o a
surchnrge equal to double the dcjidcncy.
(b) Post Card~.-Private post cards prPJ!llid by means of halfpenny postage stamps
may be sent by the inland post on lhe following conditions:-'fhcy must not exceed
.il by 4~ inches nor be less than I hy 2} inches. The right hand half of the face is reserved
for the postal directions and oddrcss; the left band half is !Wailnble for th' purposes of the
5Coo.ler, subject to the following rcstrictions:-fn ~ddition to stamps fo: prepayment post
cards may bear smnlllabols showing tha names and address of the sender and the nddrassee;
nud engravings and photogrnpb.s on very thin paper may be affi.ted to the back and left
hnod half of the address side, provided that they are com.ptelcty adherent. Ncw~paper
cutlings may also be attached to tho back and left baud half of tho addr~ss sitle. A
post card must uot be enclosed in n cover of any kind.
