Jamaica Patriotic Labels
The League obtained official support, as the Governor (Sir W.H. Manning) authorised
the labels to be placed on sale at all post offices throughout Jamaica; and the
postmistresses, instructed to push their sale, had to account for them just as they did
for postage stamps (Cooke).
